What to expect
During this expedition, everything revolves around freedom, adventure, and nature. We travel in rugged 4×4 jeeps equipped with rooftop tents, making our way through the stunning landscapes of Norway. Expect peaceful nights spent in beautiful, secluded locations, far away from the crowds. Our days will be filled with challenging drives through mountain passes, alongside fjords, and through pristine nature. There will be opportunities for some hikes as well. Plus, there’s always room for spontaneity: together, we’ll decide where to stop and fully enjoy everything this beautiful country has to offer.

Preikestolen
The hike to Preikestolen is a stunning journey of approximately 8 kilometers in the breathtaking Lysefjord region of Norway. The trail begins at the Preikestolen Mountain Lodge and takes about 4 to 5 hours to complete. As you ascend, you’ll traverse rugged terrain, navigate natural stone steps, wander through forests, and pass small streams before reaching the iconic flat-topped cliff. At a height of 604 meters above the fjord, Preikestolen offers breathtaking panoramic views of the deep blue waters of Lysefjord and the surrounding mountains. This makes it not only one of the most popular but also one of the most rewarding outdoor adventures in Norway.

With a bit of luck, we may also spot dolphins swimming in the fjords. This trip allows us to experience Norway’s diverse and stunning nature up close.

Do I need experience with off-road driving?
No, you don’t need experience with off-road driving. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, you’ll quickly feel comfortable behind the wheel of a 4×4 jeep. The focus is on enjoying the adventure and exploring nature.
What kind of facilities are available?
Although our expeditions focus on adventure in nature, we ensure that basic facilities are available. We travel with rooftop tents that have comfortable mattresses for a good night’s sleep, and each jeep is equipped with a portable compost toilet, which is easy to use. It might seem a bit daunting at first, but you’ll quickly get used to it—and it contributes to our eco-friendly way of traveling. Additionally, there are sometimes places along the way with basic sanitary facilities. We often cook together outdoors, creating a true camp atmosphere without sacrificing comfort or safety.
